Which filter do you have?

Look for the model number on the top or label of your filter housing.

A cover for the clear part of your filter

Sunlight reaching a clear filter bowl can encourage green growth. A fitted cover shades the bowl, while opening or coming off when you need to inspect it.

Keep cleaning and changing cartridges as your filter manufacturer recommends.

Questions homeowners ask

A cover has one job: keep light off the clear housing. Here’s what to know before you buy.

Will a cover fit any water filter?

No. Check the model number on your housing. A cover that looks similar can still have a different fit.

Do I still need to clean and change the filter?

Yes. A cover does not remove existing growth or replace normal service. Open or remove it for inspection and follow your filter manufacturer’s cleaning and cartridge-change instructions.

Does a cover fix cloudy or dirty water?

A cover shades the housing. It does not filter or treat water. Sediment, trapped air and other causes of discoloration need their own checks.
