Check that the model label on your filter says GXWH40L. This cover has its own model-matched shape and clips; choose the GXWH20T cover if that is the number on your filter instead.

How this cover fits
The installed photo shows this cover beneath the white GE filter head. The cover slides up over the clear housing and is held in place by its attached clips. Your existing plumbing stays connected.
Each cover is 3D printed in black PETG and arrives assembled with its clips attached. It is an external accessory for your existing housing.
Installation in about 10 seconds
- Open the package. Your filter cover arrives 100% assembled.
- Slide the cover up over the clear filter housing.
- Secure the clips so they hold the housing snugly.

Slide the cover off before flushing, inspecting or servicing your filter. Continue the manufacturer’s cleaning, cartridge or screen-care routine.
